Experiential

Storytelling in physical space

We love building immersive environments, whether for museums or brands, that tell stories within physical spaces. Experiential work brings a community aspect to physical design, and we love watching how people interact with the work in ways we never could have predicted.

Seeing how the public interacts with our experiential projects, such as this installation for Airbnb during SF Design Week, is always a thrill.

The skillset for experiential is different than that of permanent installations, and at Jupitr we understand the difference and are highly experienced at both.

For example, when we helped design, concept and build Wild Child Play interactive kids’ museum, we noticed that parents too would climb through the floor-level tunnels, getting back onto all fours and out of their comfort zones.

When we built the refugee experience piece for Airbnb’s SF Design Week exhibit, we captured the solemnity required of the concept while allowing for the viewer to literally see that experience from new angles and hold space for it.

We partnered with Jump on an outdoor installation in LA to showcase future possibilities of electric vehicles. Our use of genuine materials differentiated the booth from the standard vinyl and aluminum turnkey construction.

“When working with the team for events and installations, we always know every detail will be in good shape, start to finish.”
